20240929 Y. Elites Cup Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China, the Y. Elites Association, in collaboration with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, organized the “75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China – Y. Elites Cup Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament” on September 29. The event attracted 24 dragon boat teams from various cities in the Greater Bay Area to compete for the championship.
Our school was honoured to be invited as a supporting organization, and Principal Lee Kin-lim personally led the teachers and students to actively participate in the event. On the day of the event, the students not only experienced the charm of dragon boat culture firsthand but also engaged in a variety of booth activities.
Through this event, both our teachers and students gained a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture, fostered interaction and communication with other young participants, and strengthened their sense of national identity and cultural confidence. They are now more determined to support the development and prosperity of the country.
