20240509 & 27-STEAM For ALL: Jellyfish Education Lecture
On May 9, 2024, the STEAM and Science Departments co-organized a Jellyfish Education Lecture. The lecture introduced the common jellyfish species found in Hong Kong, allowing students to have a better understand on the life cycle, body structure, feeding habits, and behaviors of different jellyfish. Students also had the opportunity to observe the jellyfish up close and even experience what it’s like to be a jellyfish breeder. Finally, through the hands-on activity of breeding jellyfish, the lecture aimed to raise the students’awareness about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and adopting eco-friendly lifestyles.
